The Uprising
Chapter 1
Beat By His Own Game
"Man the catapults, evacuate everyone! Quickly!" cried out the Lord.
Suddenly a boulder hit the top of a fortress wall.
"Sir they're advancing with an iron barrier and a ram! What shall we do?!" cried out an archer.
The Lord tossed a necklace to the archer. "Use this to cloak everyone and escape." Yelled the Lord.
The archer nodded.
When the archer was out of sight a flaming boulder hit the tower where the Lord was standing. The Lord leapt on to a fortress wall. There was a massive roar coming from the enemy.
The Lord looked and saw three massive earth giants charging at him. The Lord cast three wing spells to push them back, he dodged two then he tried to push the third back but he only made it stronger so it hit him to a fortress wall. Before he fell unconscious he heard:
"Take his cloak and lock him up in…" someone said in a menacing tone.
The Lord lost consciousness before he heard what that man said where to lock him up.
Chapter 2
The Great Escape
When the Lord woke up he realised he was in an anti-magic prison where he couldn't use any spells.
"Wh…Where am I?" asked the Lord in confusion.
"He he. You're in an enchanted prison. Not so high and mighty now are you?" sneered a heavily armoured guard.
The Lord looked around, he was in a dimly lit room with a tapestry decorated with a captured sorcerer. The guard wasn't wearing a helmet so an idea shot into his head.
The Lord grabbed the guard's mouth until he fell unconscious. The Lord reached for the guard's electric staff. When he had the staff he zapped the prisons lock. The gate swung open instantly.
The Lord looked around the room once more, he spotted a chest. The Lord came up to it then used a fire spell to melt the lock. He opened it when he saw his cloak he grabbed it and put it on instantly. The Lord used the guard's staff to break some of the roof then he leaped up and landed on a fortress wall.
"Hey! Who are you!?Get him. Get him!" shouted a guard harshly.
The Lord whistled, the guards looked confused but they were in front of the Lord and were ready to strike.
"Surrender and we'll let you live." Sneered a guard.
The Lord noticed that he was a captain because of his cloak. The Lord looked forward and saw something coming.
"No, but you might want to duck" said the Lord like he was amused.
"What?" said the guard in confusion.
Suddenly a black winged horse kicked the guards of the wall when the Lord jumped on its back.
"Come boy let's go home." whispered the Lord to his winged horse.
Chapter 3
The Foiled Plan
When the Lord got back he saw all the citizens and soldiers repaired and improved the city. But the Lord didn't have time to marvel at their work so he gathered his captains to plan an ambush.
"M'Lord my spies tell me the king is going to attack a neighbouring city tomorrow" whispered the spy captain deeply.
"Very well. Our troops will hide in the trees" replied the Lord let's get going.
They arrived at the forest hidden when suddenly a shower of arrows came down on them. The soldiers retreated but the Lord was at the king's castle.
"Show yourself prince!" cried out the Lord in fury.
"Well well well. If it isn't my old enemy. I'm going to kill you just like I killed your parents. Oh and do you like my new toy?" sneered the prince fiendishly and showed an earth orb.
"Where did you get the last orb? asked the Lord very surprised.
"He he he. You shall never know." Sneered the prince.
"My pets! Get him!" the prince yelled.
Suddenly banshees and basilisks appeared. The Banshees screamed at the Lord while the basilisks glared.
"Aaaah!" screamed the Lord.
"Haa ha ha." The prince laughed evily.
The Lord ran away as fast as he could.
Chapter 4
One Shall Fail
"M'Lord are you okay?" asked a soldier in a worried tone.
"I'm okay. Wait a minute I've got an idea. Rally all my captains." Replied the Lord.
The captains were there in five minutes.
"Men here are as many strands of my hair as there are soldiers. Tell them to tie it on their hair, it'll make their precision excellent, their strength like one was made of a thousand men and they'll be as fast as light." Exclaimed the Lord.
The captains nodded.
When all the soldiers tied it on they attacked again. This time they destroyed the walls and defeated the soldiers quickly. But while they were celebrating the prince came out and froze the soldiers.
"Fool! You think you can defeat me with powerful soldiers!? Well think again!!" yelped the prince in fury.
"No, I will defeat you." Replied the Lord calmly.
The prince had the earth orb and a golden sceptre in his hands. The Lord used lightning to knock the prince of his tower.
The prince used magic to throw ten boulders at him. The Lord crushed them to pieces. Then the prince shot beams of light out of his sceptre. The Lord caught them all and threw them back, they hit the prince.
"THAT IS IT! YOU DIE NOW!!" yelped the prince in fury.
He shot an earth beam at the Lord. The Lord shot a white beam at the prince.
"Time to show my true potential!" yelled the Lord. Suddenly the Lords beam became stronger.
"T…too…p…powerful." Stuttered the prince. Then he fell to the floor.
The Lord unfroze his men.
"Men take the prince to the city, I'll come back alone. Go" ordered the Lord.
The men were out of sight quickly. The Lord glanced over at the orb.
"Finally the last one to bring the dark lords back, the world will be safe," whispered the Lord to himself. Then he grabbed the orb and absorbed its power. His long white hair and white eyes glowed brighter than ever.
Chapter 5
The Decision
"My people! Today I ask you what to do with this man!?" shouted the Lord in a commanding voice.
The Lord held up the unconscious chained up prince.
"Death!" cried out every civilian there.
The Lord was handed a blade but just when he was about stab him he remembered none deserved death so he dropped the blade.
"People! This man has done some heinous things. But he doesn't deserve death. However he'll be in an enchanted prison for eternity!" shouted the Lord. Then he threw the prince into the enchanted cage he made out of thin air.
"My people! We are free!" shouted the Lord.
Then he shot a beam of light into the sky, when it reached the sky all the clouds vanished and the sun shined.
The crowd cheered: "We are free! The suppression is lifted!"
