2010

Greetings Earthlings.
After working on a TV soap for almost three of your Earth years, I'm now back on the planet, living amongst you and writing again.
It feels good. :)
I'm working on a new book. I have no idea when it will be finished, at the moment, but I'm hoping it will be before the end of the year.
Check here for updates.

In July the World Cup was a bit of a distraction. I even wrote a couple of haikus for the High IQ Haiku World Cup Project. It's a great fun idea. I'm one of their official sponsors.
Check them out:

My first contribution, after England's decidedly lacklustre pre World Cup warm up game was this:

   It doesn't bode well -
   England won the friendly but
   Japan scored the goals.

And how true it was. Sadly, it was the dullest, most disappointing World Cup I can remember watching.

On a brighter note - over the last year I was the Writer In Residence at Gallions Primary School in the East End of London.
I worked with year 4, year 5 and the year 6s.

In celebration of theWorld Cup edition front page, I thought it would be fun to show a brief history
of what the Neil Arksey Website front page has looked like over the years. This has just been updated.
